There is a minimum of 8 costumes for custom. Keep in mind, the price will be higher for smaller orders.

For in-stock designs there are no minimums!

Previously designed costumes can be bought! You can change the fabrics as needed to fit your program. There is no additional charge.

In-stock designs tend to arrive much sooner than custom and are also affordable! Check them out here!

The silhouette of the costume can not be changed. Only the fabrics/colors.

After you send your first email to us, we start working on a sketch for your program.

You are allowed one free full re-design per order. After this there will be a $150 re-design fee. Minor re-designs will be free of charge (ex: change of color/fabrics).

You will always have the final say. You approve the fabrics and final design. Don’t forget, this is YOUR costume!

A $1000 deposit will be needed for custom fabric.

Only minor edits can be made after the design is finalized.

Measurements are important to do right! We will send you a measurment sheet that includes instructions on how to do each measurment.

Please minimize the amount of people measuring to ensure consistency.

Measurements should be done in inches.

Please keep in mind that Plume & Silk is not responsible for any costumes that have sizing concerns due to measurements being sent incorrectly.

Early payment is very important in order to ensure your costumes get designed and produced in a reasonable time frame.

Full payment is required to start any sort of production.

We will send you an invoice and you will be able to pay through there easily.

After costumes have been paid for, production will start and you can expect your costumes soon after!

For in-stock costumes, timeframe is 3-5 weeks after payment

For custom, time frame is 5-7 weeks after payment

We will always try to get you your costumes even sooner! Many of our orders arrive before 5 weeks after payment, including custom!

Please note that these turnaround times are based on a first-paid, first-served schedule, so late payment may extend production time.

Plume & Silk is based in Los Angeles. Costumes will be delivered directly to you or your school by us if within 60 miles from Downtown Los Angeles! No need to pay for shipping.

If you do not fit this criteria, we will communicate with you directly on costs. We will always ensure the cost is as low as possible while still fitting your time frame.

After receiving your costumes, please try them on as soon as possible. We want to make sure we can make things right. Contact us for we can see what steps we can make to address the issue.

Please contact us immediately after delivery about any immediate issues.

Machine wash in cold water on gentle with light detergent.

Hand washing is also an option.

Hang dry afterwards.
